About A Sacred Village
Our Village is built on the remembering of the Woman. Whether you’re seeking connection through your womb, your body, your heart, your psyche, artistry, or simply want to be with others, this is that place.
We have regular gatherings in our local community for Mothers and children, where there is nourishing food, deep conversation and even a massage can be had while the village takes care of your kids. I know right?! The way it should be! It’s a place where you can speak into the depths of motherhood and how it ravishes your soul, kills your ego and takes you to new heighten states – all in one day. No surface level pram talk or how well your baby sleeps. It’s soulful mothers, free spirited children and somewhere to relinquish to the reality of motherhood.
Our Mission & Values
A Sacred Village is a place for you to embrace the essence of who you are – in all ways – in all stages of life. Founded with a vision to create a space for deeper nourishment, nurturance and creation, both internally and externally.
An encouraging space for you to be fully felt, seen and heard. But not in this surface level, disembodied, bypassed, ‘love and light’ way. In a deeper and real way. A way in which you have been craving. You feel like there’s something more… Like it shouldn’t be this way, I shouldn’t feel like this. It’s like you need a space to help remember who you are, for someone to actually see you, and to finally feel authentic, soul-led connection.
Community Voices
We are souls yearning for connection and gentleness in times when it can often feel like the world has gone mad.
We are not machines who are put here to tick off endless jobs lists and be in a constant state of hyperactivity.
Having a community and connecting with other women, reminds me of the joy in life we are here to experience and the importance and value of being seen and holding our light in love for another.
When I am in this space, the sacredness of motherhood feels like it blossoms. It’s refreshing when you can drop all the expectations and insecurities that often come with this new and precious role of raising little humans. We live in times when the family unit is often no longer multigenerational, and the family unit is small and carrying a lofty load.
What I feel when I am immersed in Tahlia’s invitation to be a part of what she envisions, is a space where you can genuinely breath out. To the point that your nervous system settles, and your own inner child can feel seen and accepted in this journey we call life.
Adulting can be hard work and the burden of wanting to get it all done well can feel heavy and overwhelming.
A space to slow down and be playful, vulnerable and be perfectly imperfect is a blessing.
There is something truly special that happens when women gather, and I can’t wait to see what this space continues to evolve into.
Hayley
The Sacred Village is difficult to quantify in words. This space and community make me feel like my soul is coming home, transcending all elements of care for the body, mind and soul. Not only had Tahlia opened her heart and resources to us she has invited us to co-create in the process of healing which has already begun to send ripples of positive change through our society and culture. Women who gather in this way share joy, tears, wisdom, and a deep remembering of the ways we need each other. Our world needs this more than we know, and I feel blessed to be part of this journey.
